About us

WOSCONET’s primary objective is to complement the efforts of governments and other organizations in promoting women’s inclusion in governance, ensuring effective representation, and enhancing the delivery of quality services. By aligning its activities with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), WOSCONET seeks to contribute to the achievement of these global objectives. One of the core values of WOSCONET is its organization, compassion, and passion for problem-solving. The network understands the significance of addressing societal challenges faced by women and takes a comprehensive approach to tackle these issues. WOSCONET recognizes the importance of focusing on individual women’s needs, providing support, and advocating for their rights.

Acting President, Women Support Women Community Network (WOSCONET)

Patience N. Ezeaku is a passionate advocate for women’s empowerment, health, and community development with over a decade of experience in healthcare services, grassroots mobilization, and nonprofit leadership. Currently serving as the Acting President of the Women Support Women Community Network (WOSCONET), she provides strategic leadership in advancing the organization’s mission to empower women, foster inclusivity, and create sustainable opportunities for community transformation.

Her professional background spans program coordination, advocacy, research, and healthcare information management. She has served with organizations such as the Probity and Accountability Watch Initiative (PAWI), National Primary Healthcare Development Agency, and the Enugu State Primary Healthcare Development Agency, where she contributed to immunization campaigns, health records management, and public health education.

Patience is recognized for her strong leadership skills in team management, conflict resolution, fundraising, and community outreach. She has undergone specialized training in Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) by WaterAid Nigeria, Security Awareness by USAID, and Caregiving by Rines Caregivers, among others.

Beyond her professional and leadership roles, she is committed to building networks that amplify women’s voices, mobilize resources for community initiatives, and promote accountability and good governance. Her vision is centered on creating a society where women are equipped, supported, and given equal opportunities to thrive.
